Community Support Workers
£7.35 per hour
1 X 37 hour positions and sessional positions available
Community support covers a range of activities including:
Structured day time occupation for individuals or groups
Opportunities for people to pursue hobbies and interests
- Leisure activities in the evening and at weekends
Our Community Support Team support adults with a learning disability to develop skills including budgeting, use of public transport and travelling independently. We aim to:
- Build people’s independence
- Support people to pursue mainstream community activities
- Support people to make use of their skills and talents
Experience is not always necessary but a commitment to working with disabled people is
