The Centre

Our Centre provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive community space for adults with learning disabilities and autism, their families, carers and the wider community.

Through our range of groups, activities and events, people can build friendships, develop new skills, take part in meaningful activities and enjoy opportunities to connect with others. We create a supportive environment where everyone is valued, included and encouraged to participate at their own pace.

Our groups and activities are shaped around the needs and interests of the people who use our service, with a focus on promoting independence, wellbeing, confidence and community connection. We also provide opportunities for families, carers and community members to come together, share experiences and access support.

For more information about our current events, activities and groups taking place at the Centre, please visit our Facebook page for the latest updates.

Our Space

Along with the indoor space which features plenty of toys, games, crafts and a sensory space, The Centre also has a large garden. The outdoor space is fully secure, and there are lots of outdoor toys, games, and play equipment available.

Reverse inclusion

Our Centre has a strong ethos of reverse inclusion. This means that we welcome all children, including siblings and friends, to The Centre when it is appropriate, but those with additional needs and disabilities take priority
