The Hunt Is on at Independent Options

A certain cotton-tailed creature with a basket full of goodies has been tucking away chocolate eggs in every nook and cranny that Independent Options has to offer in preparation for its annual Easter egg hunt.

To be held on Sunday 3rd April, the event will raise money for the Hazel Grove-based charity, which supports children and adults with disabilities to enjoy life to the full.

As well as the hunt itself, the fundraising day will feature face painting, refreshments, games and a bouncy castle. There will even be a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny himself.

Hosted by one of the leading charities for children and adults with disabilities in Stockport, at the charity’s headquarters at The Pines, Chester Road, the Easter Egg Hunt will run from 11am to 4pm. General admission is free, and taking part in the hunt will cost £3 per child, or £5 for two children.

Fundraising Manager, Lucy Sawdon-Molloy, commented: “Independent Options’ Easter egg hunt promises to be a wonderful family day out, with plenty of activities and lots of fun to be had. The event is also an important way for us to raise vital funds that help us to continue providing services to adults and children with learning disabilities.”
