DESCRIPTION:Independent Options is turning 40 and we are celebrating in style with a birthday themed Summer Fair to remember! \nJoin us on Sunday 9th July from 11am – 4pm for a fantastic day of family fun! There’ll be fairground rides\, balloons\, face painting\, tombolas\, raffles\, cakes and lots more. \nThe fair will be held at Independent Options\, 67 Chester Road\, Hazel Grove\, SK7 5PE. \nIndependent Options is a registered charity with almost 40 years’ experience of removing the barriers that society places in the way of people with disabilities and those who love and care for them. It currently provides support services to over 600 children and adults with a range of disabilities. \nThe Stockport-based charity aims to empower people with disabilities so that they can take control of their lives\, achieve their aspirations\, and live life to the full. \nEstablished in 1977\, Independent Options prides itself on providing a person-centred approach\, giving its users control over the care and support they receive.  It works with people who have learning disabilities\, mental health needs\, autism\, acquired brain injuries\, and also physical disabilities.

DESCRIPTION:The Summer Holiday Club at Independent Options Children and Family Centre is here! \nThere’s lots planned throughout the holidays\, so be sure to book on to one of our exciting sessions or groups for a fun-packed summer! \nPlease note that groups are suitable for the ages specified\, and that some may incur a small charge to take part in. Priority will be given to children with additional needs. For more information about any of the groups\, or to book your place\, please contact Julia on 0161 482 7933. \nThe Children and Family Centre provides inclusive play opportunities in a safe and welcoming environment for children with learning disabilities and additional needs. Through its wide range of groups\, play sessions and SEN training courses\, children can learn and play while parents can access a wide range of information and support. \nWe tailor both the support and the groups to the children’s individual needs and ensure that numbers of those attending the groups are kept low to ensure each child gets the attention they deserve. The groups are all family based\, with parents and carers joining their children for sessions.
