DESCRIPTION:The Summer Holiday Club at Independent Options Children and Family Centre is here! \nThere’s lots planned throughout the holidays\, so be sure to book on to one of our exciting sessions or groups for a fun-packed summer! \nPlease note that groups are suitable for the ages specified\, and that some may incur a small charge to take part in. Priority will be given to children with additional needs. For more information about any of the groups\, or to book your place\, please contact Julia on 0161 482 7933. \nThe Children and Family Centre provides inclusive play opportunities in a safe and welcoming environment for children with learning disabilities and additional needs. Through its wide range of groups\, play sessions and SEN training courses\, children can learn and play while parents can access a wide range of information and support. \nWe tailor both the support and the groups to the children’s individual needs and ensure that numbers of those attending the groups are kept low to ensure each child gets the attention they deserve. The groups are all family based\, with parents and carers joining their children for sessions.

SUMMARY:Climbing Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Have you got a head for heights? On Saturday 9th September we are holding our first ever indoor climbing challenge at Rope Race Climbing Centre. \nParticipants will be able to climb the equivalent height of Manchester’s Beetham Tower in the comfort of the indoor climbing centre. Children are more than welcome to take part in the event but the minimum age restriction is 6 years old. \nBeetham Tower is one of the UK’s highest buildings at an amazing 551ft/168m and 47 floors high. Once registered you\nwill be required to raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship which will include your registration fee for the event. This means that essentially you will get to climb for free! \nThe climbing challenge is another exciting event to mark Independent Options’ 40th anniversary\, and a superb opportunity to push yourself to the limit while raising much-needed funds to help us continue the work we do for the next 40 years! \nTo get involved\, or for more information\, get in touch!
