Through our Adult Placement scheme, we recruit, train, approve and support Adult Placement Carers who offer short or long-term support to people with disabilities in their family homes and in the community. Carers enable the people they work with to develop their independence and daily living skills and to enjoy leisure activities. 

People have short-term support when their own family or carers need a break or are ill. Long-term support provides a unique alternative to supported and sheltered housing, enabling people to live as part of an ordinary family within the community.
