This service assists people who have a learning disability or mental health need, usually living alone, to run their own home. The support provided can be as little as 1 hour per week. The tasks that members of staff can assist with include budgeting, paying bills and managing debts, applying for and renewing benefits, applying for a tenancy or mortgage, maintaining the property inside and outside, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, (shopping, cooking, exercise), and maintaining positive relationships with neighbours, family and friends.
