We provide support on a one to one basis or for small groups of adults who have expressed an interest in doing an activitiy together. We believe it is important to support people to participate in activities that are relevant to their personal development rather than just passing the time.

Our members of staff receive training to act as guides to mainstream community life with the aim of linking the people they support to others who have similar interests and outside of formal services. We place a lot of importance on the process of matching staff to the people they support.

We are happy to provide support for people who have access to Direct Payments or Individual Budgets.

People can use their time to develop personal interests and hobbies. Some examples of what we have supported people to do include health and fitness programmes at their local gym, participate in model boat club, visiting the 92 football league grounds in England and Wales, learn to use the internet, manage own allotment.

To help people expand their horizons beyond the local area and follow up on interests and hobbies we organise day and evening trips for small groups. These can be organised for a group who are already friends or can be an opportunity to make new friends with people who have similar interests.
