Community Support for Children

We offer children and young people opportunities to explore existing leisure interests and find new ones, develop greater independence, build on existing friendships and make new ones. We provide friendly and understanding staff who will work in partnership with families to support children and young people in the evenings after school, at weekends and during school holidays. We do not have any residential facilities to provide short breaks for children and young people. Instead, we can organise weekends away all year round and mid-week breaks during school holiday times. This can be for individuals, pairs of friends or small groups of 4 young people accompanied by 2 members of staff. These have taken place in a variety of settings including self-catering, chalets, Youth Hostels, hotels and caravans. These overnight stays away from home are for children and young people over the age of 12 years old.
