Independent Options is a registered charity based in Stockport providing support to people who have learning disabilities, or mental health needs, to maintain a valued lifestyle.
Our supported living services are constantly growing and developing and we are looking for warm, understanding, motivated individuals to be part of our team.
You must be committed to working in a person centered manner to support adults to live independently in their own home and when they are out in the community. Ability to work with families is essential.
Contracted & Sessional Support Worker Posts available
Male tenants, who have chosen to set up a house together are looking for support workers to help them increase their independence and be successful in their jobs and daily activities. Experience of basic sign language is desirable for one of our tenancies but not essential as training will be provided.
30 hours per week, £7.35 per hour
All posts include some evenings and weekends and sleep in duties.
Additional payments made for sleep in duties
All posts will include time for training, team meetings and supervisions
